What services does Animal Graphics provide?
Beyond the catalog, Animal Graphics produces custom work and licenses imagery. Services include custom livestock identification labels, custom prints and large-format graphics, transparencies, duratrans backlit graphics for low-light displays, vinyl window and wall graphics, and licensed stock photography of thousands of freshwater fish, plants, marine fish and invertebrates, reptiles, birds, and small pets.
Custom labels, prints, and large-format graphics
When a stock title is close but not exact, the studio adapts it. Custom livestock labels can be built to a chain or distributor's own design and produced as individual labels, sheets, or full sets on a range of materials. Custom prints, lithographs, and large-format graphics are designed and produced for in-store displays, promotional pieces, and resale, so a retailer or a brand can carry a consistent look across signage, fixtures, and packaging.
This is also where a store solves the one-off problem: a display that needs a specific species the catalog does not feature, a sign sized to an awkward wall, or a promotional graphic tied to a seasonal push. Working from a deep photographic library means most requests start from an existing high-quality image rather than a new shoot.
Transparencies, duratrans, and backlit displays
Transparencies run from 35mm slides up to large-format graphics for projection or backlit signs and displays. Duratrans is a photographic image produced on backlit stock, intended for viewing with light behind it. Both are the right tool for zoos and public aquariums that need to present information in spaces with low ambient light, where a flat printed sign would disappear but a backlit panel reads clearly.
The same imagery that prints as a retail identification poster can therefore move up to an illuminated interpretive panel for an exhibit, which lets an institution keep one visual identity from the gift shop to the gallery.
Window and wall graphics, and stock photography
Vinyl window and wall graphics call attention to a storefront or a particular display. They are printed on durable vinyl in a range of sizes and precision cut in a choice of static cling, wall-safe adhesive, or permanent adhesive, so a retailer can customize the look and remove or reposition pieces as displays change.
Underpinning all of it is the stock photography library: images available for thousands of freshwater fish, aquatic plants, marine fish and invertebrates, reptiles, birds of avicultural interest, and small pet animals. Those images can be licensed for use in publications, packaging, and displays, which is the foundation the prints, labels, and custom graphics are built from.

- One identity, many formats. The same image can be a retail poster, a label, or a backlit interpretive panel.
- Duratrans for low light. Backlit photographic stock reads clearly in zoo and aquarium spaces a flat sign would not.
